Complex PCI. Planning and guidance of complex percutaneous coronary interventions

We now embark in the 9th edition of Planning and Guidance of Complex Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, on this occasion with a blended format that will allow both on site and online participation.

Our educational objectives remain the same as in prior editions of this meeting: finding the most appropriate treatment for the individual patient, exploring how diagnostic and therapeutic tools can be best applied in the practice of complex PCI, providing a holistic approach to coronary revascularisation in challenging patient subgroups.

You will see that we are privileged to have a distinguished faculty in this today program, all of whom are engaged in cutting-edge research in the field of intravascular imaging and coronary physiology in addition to being expert PCI operators. We anticipate that, in the aftermath of pivotal clinical trials presented in major scientific meetings over the last two years, the discussion will be extremely interesting and engaging.

The fact of being a blended event will leverage the opportunities for our educational objectives, increasing the outreach of the course and facilitating exchange of knowledge and experience, both with the colleagues attending the meeting in Madrid and those joining remotely. To facilitate engagement and active participation of all participants, we have allowed as much time for discussion as the time given for the talks themselves. We are prepared to address your questions and comments in person or through the dedicated chat. Chances are if you have a question about something so will several other people in the audience.

Couse description

The course will be largely based on live learning from transmitted and recorded cases, linked to the meeting room with cutting edge technology, which will facilitate discussion and interaction with all attendees. We are delighted to bring live and recorded cases demonstrations from Hospital Clínico San Carlos, Madrid, Spain to showcase the planning of PCI procedures and subsequently, the use of diagnostic and therapeutic tools during the intervention.

Finally, on behalf of the entire course team, we would like to thank you for taking the time to participate in this course. We hope you find the course informative and stimulating, leaving you prepared to implement the latest contemporary intracoronary guidance techniques in your catheter laboratory. We wish you a very pleasant and fruitful attendance to our course, either as an onsite or online participant.
